HARRISBURG, Pa. - Bridgewater College junior Taylor Rose won the title Thursday in Individual Open Equitation On The Flat at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championship Show.
Rose won the title in a class of 16 riders from around the nation at the 40th Annual Championship Show.
This is the third consecutive year Rose has participated at the IHSA National Show. As a freshman, Rose rode in two classes as the Eagles competed for the team title and finished fifth. A year ago, she placed fifth in Individual Intermediate Equitation Over Fences.
Rose is the second Bridgewater rider in program history to win a title at the IHSA national show. In 2002 Cary Chenoweth won the title in Individual Intermediate Over Fences.
