Royals Rally In Second Half To Defeat Eagles, 3-1

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Eastern Mennonite rallied from a1-0 deficit at the half to defeat Bridgewater College, 3-1, Wednesday in ODAC men's soccer action.
The Eagles took the lead in the final minute of the first half when Nick Rutten scored off a Shane O'Donnell assist to put the Eagles on the board.
The Royals tied the contest in the first five minutes of the second half when Brent Yoder scored off an assist from Bryce Shank.
EMU took the lead on a goal by Phillip Yoder and added an insurance score late in the contest with a goal by Ian Mast.
The Royals held a 21-8 edge in shots. EMU keeper Dillon Brunk finished with two saves while Jack Bottoms tallied eight saves for the Eagles.
Bridgewater is now 1-13 overall and 0-6 in the ODAC. Eastern Mennonite improves to 4-5-5 overall and 2-2-2 in the ODAC
