Guilford Takes Control In Second Half To Defeat Eagles In Men's Soccer Action
GREENSBORO, N.C. - After a scoreless first half, Guilford College took control and defeated the Bridgewater College Eagles, 4-1, in ODAC men's soccer action.
The Quakers took the lead early in the second half on a goal by Jeff Floyd at the 46:11 mark.
Guilford added three more goals before the Eagles avoided the shutout on a goal by Ryan Morgan in the closing minutes of the contest. Ryan Tavernaris recorded the assist on Morgan's goal.
The Eagles return to action Wednesday when they host Hampden-Sydney in ODAC action. Game time is 4:00 p.m.
