FOREST, Va. - Bridgewater College senior Kevin Gorman has been named the ODAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week by the conference office.
Gorman played a key role in two victories during the past week that helped the Eagles run their winning streak to five in a row.
In a non-conference midweek game, Gorman scored three goals in an 11-minute span late in the game to lift the Eagles to a 3-1 victory over Stevenson. With the scored tied at 0-0 in the 76th minute, Gorman broke the tie with an unassisted goal. He scored two more goals in the next 11 minutes to put BC on top 3-0 and the Eagles went on to win by a score of 3-1.
Gorman also added an assist in Bridgewater's 3-2 conference victory over Randolph College. With the WildCats holding a 2-1 lead, Gorman's hit Daniel Visone with a perfect pass and Visone finished the play with a goal to tie the score at 2-2.
The weekly honor is the second straight for the Bridgewater program. A week ago, Sawyer Janes was named the conference player of the week.
