Weekend Softball Doubleheaders Pushed Back Due To Weather

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – A storm front that is slated to dump nearly two inches of rain on the Shenandoah Valley over the next two days has caused the Saturday and Sunday doubleheaders for the Bridgewater Eagles softball team to be postponed.

Bridgewater's Saturday afternoon twinbill with Randolph-Macon has been moved back to Tuesday, April 24. First pitch against the Yellow Jackets is set for 3 p.m.

On Sunday afternoon, the Eagles were slated to do battle with conference-leading Virginia Wesleyan but that game has been shifted back to Wednesday, April 25 at 3 p.m.

Both games will be played at the BC Softball Field and will help to decide the seedings for the upcoming Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament which opens play on Thursday, April 26 at the Moyer Complex in Salem, Va.
