Nearly two feet of snow in the greater Bridgewater area has caused the cancellation of Sunday's women's basketball game at Emory & Henry. Currently, the game has not been rescheduled.
Women's Basketball Falls to Guilford 64-61

Bridgewater's women's basketball team led by seven points with just over three minutes to play, before the Guilford Quakers (11-9, 8-7 ODAC) ended the game on a 12-2 run to defeat the Eagles by a 64-61 score in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action.
Pending Storm Impacts Women's Basketball Schedule

With another winter storm slated to impact the Old Dominion state starting on Friday, the Bridgewater women’s basketball team has made adjustments to its weekend schedule. Bridgewater will travel to Guilford on Thursday, February 4 for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off with the Quakers and will take on Emory & Henry on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in Emory, Va.
Bridgewater Women Come From Behind to Defeat Eastern Mennonite 51-48

Trailing by eight at the midway point of in the second half, the Bridgewater Eagles went on an 11-0 run to take the lead with eight minutes to play and never looked back as the Eagles defeated visiting Eastern Mennonite (12-5, 7-4 ODAC) 51-48 at Nininger Hall.

Burkholder Named ODAC Player of the Week
After averaging 22.5 points per game on the week and leading the Bridgewater Eagles women’s basketball team to a road win at Randolph-Macon, junior Jordan Burkholder has been named the ODAC Player of the Week.

After watching its 17 point halftime lead evaporate, Bridgewater used 19 second-half points from junior Jordan Burkholder and efficient foul-shooting down the stretch to defeat the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets 68-57.

Bridgewater’s women’s basketball team forced 21 Virginia Wesleyan miscues which turned into 26 points as the Eagles controlled the contest from start to finish in a 75-42 victory over the visiting Marlins.

Despite four players in double figures, the Bridgewater Eagles women’s basketball team couldn’t overpower a strong inside game from Roanoke College (12-2, 9-1 ODAC) as the Eagles fell to the visiting Maroons by a 72-63 score.

Washington and Lee outscored the Bridgewater Eagles (7-5, 5-4 ODAC) by a 40-26 margin in the paint and had a pair of players with double-doubles, while the Eagles were ice cold from the field as the Generals defeated BC by a 67-58 score in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play.

With 17:59 to play in the game, junior Jordan Burkholder knocked down a three pointer on an assist from junior Lacey Barnett to notch her 1,000th career point, aiding in the process of a convincing 79-45 victory over Emory & Henry in Nininger Hall.
