Women’s Golf Wraps Up Competition at Hollins Invitational

DALEVILLE, Va. – Freshman Andrea Walker fired a final round +14, 86, to finish in a tie for fifth place overall to lead the Bridgewater Eagles women's golf team at the Hollins Invitational at the Ashley Plantation Golf Club.

Walker finished the weekend at +20, 164 to crack the top five of the individual leaderboard.

Fellow freshman Marin Warring also competed for the Eagles in the program's first tournament and finished the final round at +15, 87. Warring wrapped up the weekend at +33, 177, to finish in 10th place overall.

Hollins claimed the team title with a +86, 662, performance.

Sewanee's Emily Javadi claimed the individual championship at +9, 153, besting the field by two strokes.

Bridgewater is back in action on Sunday at the Radford Highlanders Invitational at the Draper Valley Golf Club.
