Stump Earns Spot On All-State Second Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Bridgewater College junior Elizabeth Stump was named to the VaSID College Division Women's Soccer All-State second team released on Monday.

Stump anchored a Bridgewater defense that recorded nine shutouts and posted a goals against average of 0.94.

The Bridgewater junior earned first-team All-ODAC recognition for the second straight season. She was also named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire All-South Atlantic Region third team for the second consecutive year.

Lynchburg claimed two of the top honors on the All-State team as Dessi Dupuy was named Player of the Year and Dr. Todd Olsen was named Coach of the Year. Christopher Newport's Sam Rabinkek and Washington and Lee's Ashley Hogan shared Rookie of the Year honors.
