Gordon Named To VaSID All-State First Team

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - Bridgewater College junior Katie Gordon earned a spot on the Women's Tennis College Division All-State first team released Thursday by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID).

Gordon played No. 1 singles the entire season and finished the year with a 16-2 overall record and a 9-2 mark in conference play.

The University of Mary Washington swept the state's top individual awards. Junior All-American Lindsay Raulston was named the VaSID College Division Player of the Year. Patrick Catullo was named state Coach of the Year and freshman Shelby Harris was tabbed as the state college division Rookie of the Year.
