Mills Finishes 21st at NCAA Championships

LACROSSE, Wisc. - Senior Olivia Mills wrapped up a stellar three-year career with the Bridgewater Eagles women's track and field team with a 21st place showing on Saturday afternoon in the 5,000 meter run at the 2013 NCAA Division III Championships at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

Mills crossed the finish line in a time of 17:55.37 to place 21st overall in the field.

Mills wraps up her career off of back-to-back NCAA Championship appearances after earning All-America honors at the 2012 Division III Cross Country Championships. Last season, Mills competed at the national championships in a pair of events, just missing All-America accolades. Mills was the 2011 Co-Athlete of the Meet at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) indoor and outdoor championships and earned back-to-back ODAC Runner of the Year honors in cross country.
