Celen, Senger Named ODAC Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week

FOREST, Va. - Bridgewater College's Amber Celen and Katelyn Senger swept the ODAC women's track & field Athlete of the Week awards following the team's weekend at two meets.

Celen placed second in both the 100 and 200 meters against primarily Division I opposition at Princeton University's Sam Howell Invitational.

Her time of 24.51 in the 200m was a new school record and the fastest in Division III this season. She ran 11.76 in the 100m, the second-fastest time in D-III and a new ODAC record.

At another Division I school, Liberty University, Senger broke her ODAC record in the discus for the second straight week, tossing 46.04m/151'0" to place second overall. That is the third-longest mark in Division III this season.

Senger added top-10 finishes in the shot put and javelin as well.

Senger has now won three consecutive ODAC Field Athlete of the Week awards, and five for her career. This is Celen's ninth career ODAC weekly honor.
