Eagles Split Saturday Matches At Carnegie Mellon Invite

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Bridgewater finished play at the Carnegie Mellon Invite by splitting its two matches on Saturday.

The Eagles opened the day by sweeping King's College 25-22, 22-18, 25-20.

Bridgewater then lost its final match of the weekend to Scranton in four games. The Eagles won the opening game 25-23, but Scranton bounced back to take the next three games 25-15, 25-16, 26-24.

The Eagles, now 8-7 on the season, return to action Wednesday evening when they host Randolph-Macon.
