Eagles Fall In Four To Frostburg State

ASTON, Pa. - Frostburg State defeated Bridgewater 3-1 Friday evening at the Knights Fall Fever Quad hosted by Neumann University.

The Bobcats won the first game 25-21, but the Eagles evened the score by taking the second game 25-23. Frostburg then won the next two games 25-16, 25-18 to close out the match.

Katie Baker (Strasburg, Va./Strasburg), Katie Long (Floyd, Va./Floyd County) and Cadie Castle (Mineral, Va./Louisa) each finished with 10 kills to lead the Eagles attack. Kai-Lynn Stoker (Potomac, Md./Jack Britt) led the team in digs with 17, followed by Casey O'Leary (Quinton, Va./New Kent) and Morgan Foster (Stafford, Va./Mountain View) with 15 digs each. Lindsay Kallam (Virgiia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) finished the contest with a team-high 36 assists. Baker added three blocks and Foster tacked on three service aces.

The Eagles are back in action Saturday at the Knights Fall Fever Quad with matches against Neumann and Lebanon Valley.
