Eagles Drop Two Matches At Knights Fall Fever Quad

ASTON, Pa. - Bridgewater College dropped two matches Saturday as the Eagles finished play at the Knights Fall Fever Quad hosted by Neumann University.

In Saturday's opener, the Eagles lost to Neumann in four games. After losing the first game 25-13, the Eagles evened the score with a 25-23 win in Game 2. The hosts then won the next two games 25-22, 25-19 to close out the match. Cadie Castle (Mineral, Va./Louisa) led the Eagles at the net with 13 kills and three blocks. Casey O'Leary (Quinton, Va./New Kent) had 13 digs and Lindsay Kallam (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne) added 31 assists.

Lebanon Valley swept the Eagles in three 25-16, 25-13, 25-17. Katie Baker (Strasburg, Va./Strasburg) paced the Eagles at the net with 10 kills and three blocks. Kellie Finneran (Chino Hills, Cal./Chino Hills) and Emily Cassell(Calverton, Va./Kettle Run) finished with nine digs each and Kallam added 19 assists.

The Eagles are now 9-11 overall on the season. On Tuesday evening the Eagles will host their Dig Pink Game when they play Hollins at 7:00 p.m.
