Bridgewater Set to Host the U.S. Elite Volleyball Camp This Summer

U.S. Elite Volleyball will be hosting their third volleyball summer camp at Bridgewater College from July 19-21, 2013.

Headlining the camp staff this year will be Max Lipsitz, Blair Brown, Alyssa D'Errico, Luke Murray and Erin Albert.

Lipsitz is from Penn State University and is a decorated athlete with All-American honors, Player of the Year honors, and a National Champion. Brown is a Purcellville, Va native, attended Penn State University and won the National Championships four times, and was a former ESPY nominee. D'Errico also attended Penn State, is a four-time National Champion, and plays professionally in Spain. Murray is a Penn State alumnus as well, receiving All-American honors alongside his National Championship. He is currently an assistant coach at East Tennessee University.

Albert is the head volleyball coach here at Bridgewater College and graduated from Juniata College after winning a National Championship, the Conference Championships four times, and being named MVP of the NCAA Regional Tournament and Honorable Mention All-American.

Drills, competitions, fundamentals, demonstrations, and games will be conducted at the camp to teach skills, teamwork, hard work ethic, and overall, how to have fun with the game of volleyball. Each skill will be addressed by a coach who has mastered that skill.

The camp will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an hour break for lunch. This camp is geared to accommodate anyone.
