Two-time ODAC Field Athlete of the Year Courtney Adams has been hired as the Eagles’ assistant director of strength and conditioning.
Adams, a four-year member of the Bridgewater track & field program, was named the ODAC Field Athlete of the Year in both indoor and outdoor this past year.
She won the ODAC indoor title in the triple jump while placing second in the pole vault and high jump. She earned All-Region honors in four indoor events, adding the 4x400m relay to those three field events.
She went on to win outdoor conference titles in the pole vault and triple jump, earning All-Region honors in those events along with the high jump. A stellar student, Adams was named USTFCCCA All-Academic as well.
Adams was also an All-Region high jumper in her sophomore and juniors seasons.
“Courtney was a very hard worker as a track athlete and built herself into an all-conference athlete,” said Bridgewater director of strength and conditioning Brandon Beach. “She is a high-energy, very positive coach which will help Bridgewater move in the right direction. She will bring a different point of view with her experience interning at Westside Barbell last summer.”
Adams graduated in 2018 with a degree in biology/health & exercise science.
She won six ODAC team championships with the Eagles, going 4-for-4 in indoor track.
