Mitch Ferrick will coach the Bridgewater quarterbacks in his second season with the program, after directing wide receivers last fall. He also adds responsibility as the team's recruiting coordinator.

The Eagles ranked fifth nationally in Division III in red zone offense (.943) in 2018, while averaging 33.6 points per game in conference play.

He is a Virginia high school graduate (Centerville) and played quarterback at Guilford College before being hired as their wide receivers coach in January of 2016- where he has worked the past two seasons.

Ferrick appeared in 13 career games at Guilford, seeing time in each of his four seasons. He completed 38-of-59 passes for 439 yards, five touchdowns and just one interception.

An Academic All-ODAC and Guilford Student-Athlete honor roll student, Ferrick made the Dean' List at Guilford. He was also named the National Football Foundation's 2016 Hampshire Honor Society.

He earned Second Team All-Concorde District recognition in high school, while leading his team to the 2011 Northern Region Conference championship and second place in the Virginia Class 3A Division 6 state playoffs.
