King Joins Eagles Baseball Coaching Staff

Chris King joins baseball staff as assistant coach.

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Former Bridgewater College player Chris King has joined the Eagles baseball staff as an assistant coach for the 2019 spring season. King worked with the team this past fall as a volunteer coach.

This spring, King will work primarily with the catchers and hitters, but will also spend some time working with the pitching staff.

A 2018 Bridgewater graduate, King played four years for head coach Curt Kendall, spending most of his time as the team's catcher. As a senior, King hit for a .331 average with four homers and 23 RBIs. He was a third-team All-ODAC selection as a senior. King finished his career with a .338 batting average and 75 RBIs.
