Watts Wins Randolph College Medal Finals

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater College riders participated in two events recently.

This past weekend several Bridgewater College students competed at the Randolph College Fall Festival. 

Laurin Watts rode BC's Arsenik to a double third-place and a second-place finish in the Open Equitation Division at 2'6. The pair finished as reserve champion in the division and went on to win a seventh in the Randolph College Hunter Derby, Watts and Arsenik won the Randolph College Medal Finals.

Megan Heffernan rode BC's Endeavor to a second, fourth and sixth-place finish in the Open Equitation Division at 2'6. The pair finished ninth in the Randolph College Hunter Derby and ninth in the Randolph College Medal Finals.

Rebecca Sprow rode BC's Ringo Star to a double fourth and a third-place finish in the Limit Equitation Division.

Katie Dunnock also rode BC's Ringo Star to a fifth-place finish in the Randolph College Medal Finals.

Hannah Foster rode BC's Title One to a second, third and fourth-place finish in the Limit Equitation Division. The pair won the reserve championship for the division and also finished second in the SWVHJA Adult Equitation on the Flat.

Zellie Wothers rode BC's West Edition to a double third-place finish and fifth-place finish in the Open Equitation Division at 3'. The pair won the SWVHJA Adult Equitation on the Flat and placed second in the SWVHJA Adult Medal.

The weekend of October 7th several BC riders competed at the House Mountain Horse Show held at the VA Horse Center in Lexington, VA.

Nina Cirucci rode BC's Endeavor to a double blue ribbon win and sixth-place finish in the Intermediate Hunter Division. The pair won the championship for the division.

Megan Heffernan rode BC's Arsenik to fourth-place finish in the SWVHJA Adult Equitation on the Flat, a second-place finish in the Randolph College Medal and a third-place finish in the SWVHJA Special Adult Hunter over fences class.

Jordan Criss rode BC's Cassiopeia to double blue ribbon wins in the JC/TIP Hopeful Jumpers. The pair also brought home a pair of blue ribbons after winning the JC/TIP Suitable Jumper classes and a third in the SWVHJA Adult Equitation on the Flat.

Olivia Persinger rode BC's Raphaela to a sixth and seventh-place finish in the Schooling Hunter Division.

Erika Ramirez rode BC's Ringo Star to a sixth-place finish in the SWVHJA Adult Equitation on the Flat. The pair also won a second and fifth-place in the Intermediate Hunter Division.
