IDA Team Places Second At E&H

EMORY, Va. - The Bridgewater College IDA team placed second Saturday at the Emory & Henry show. Emory & Henry placed first, winning all four divisions for a perfect score. E&H carried 21 points toward the regional standings. Bridgewater was next with 13 points, followed by Virginia Tech with 11.

With the home victory, E&H went ahead in the regional standings, now leading Bridgewater by four points with two shows remaining. The teams will compete at Virginia Tech on March 24 with the Eagles hosting the final show on April 8 at the Bridgewater College Equestrian Center.

Melissa Lempicki (team points rider) took fourth place in First Level with a score of 63.125 %

Lauren Powtak (team points rider) was second place in Upper Training Level with a score of 67.308%.  Powtak continues to lead the region at this level individually.

Meaghan Cleary (rode for individual points) was third place in Upper Training Level with a score of 66.923%.

Lauren Buckhout (rode for individual points) placed fifth in Upper Training Level with a score of 64.308%

Morgan Sowers (team points rider) was second place in Lower Training Level with a score of 66.087 %.

Isabel Ammendolia (team points rider) finished in third place in the Introductory Level with a score of 64.689%.

Hannah Foster (rode for individual points) placed sixth in the Introductory Level with a score of 62.188%
