Riders Compete At Annual SWVHJA Show

Megan Heffernan rides at the annual SWVHJA show.

Bridgewater College riders competed in the SWVHJA Annual Horse Show held at the Virginia Horse Center November 15-18.

Michael Golinowski rode his own Date Night in the Special Children/Adult Hunter Classic and scored an 87 in their first round over fences followed by a score of 88 in their second round. The pair's scores were the highest ranked out of 29 entries, earning them the Championship title. Michael and Kody also won the Junior Equitation on the Flat title and competed in the Randolph College Medal, Special Children division, and Hopeful Hunter division where they were 1st in the under saddle.

Katelyn Dugan rode Lexi Krol's Fraval Diva to the High Point Jumper Rider award. The pair competed in the Level 1 jumper division and earned a 1st and three 2nd place finishes.

Caroline Shipe rode her own Judge Priest to the Reserve Champion title in the Horse Handy Hunter class out of 31 entries and a 9th place finish in the Adult Medal Finals. The pair also competed in the Low Hunter division and Adult Hunter division where they placed 3rd under saddle.

Megan Heffernan rode Spy Coast Farm's Montecristo SCF in the Low Hunter division and the $1,000 Invitational Hunter Derby. Megan also rode BC's Arsenik in the Adult Hunter division and finished 4th in the Adult Medal Finals. She also rode BC's Endeavor to a 3rd place finish in the Adult Equitation on the Flat and a 3rd place finish in the Adult Equitation on the Flat Championship.

Isabel Ammendolia rode her own Wisewood Discotek in the Green Hunter division, the Adult Equitation on the Flat, and the Adult Hunter division where they placed 6th over fences and 6th under saddle.

Erika Ramirez rode BC's Latin Lover in the Special Adult Hunter division earning a 1st, 6th, and 5th place finish under saddle.

Michaela Jueick rode BC's Raphaela in the Randolph College Medal and Special Adult Hunter division where the pair earned a solid 4th place finish under saddle.

Britney Linick rode BC's Alejandro in the Randolph College Medal and the Special Adult Hunter division where they achieved a 3rd place finish under saddle.

Rebecca Scoggin rode BC's Endeavor in the Adult Pleasure division, earning a 1st, 3rd, and 5th place finish.

Jessi Scoggin rode BC's Raphaela in the Adult Pleasure division, achieving a solid 4th place finish.

Hannah Foster rode Melanie Vest's Hat Trick to a 7th place finish in the Adult Equitation on the Flat Championship. The pair also earned a reserve place finish in the Hopeful Hunter division and competed in the Adult Equitation on the Flat class.

Devon Francis rode BC's Arsenik to a 3rd and 6th place finish in the Hopeful Hunter division.

Claudia Scheeren rode BC's Latin Lover to a 6th and 4th place finish in the Pre-Beginner Equitation division.

Eli Hankins rode Lexi Krol's Fraval Diva in the Low Jumper division, earning a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 3rd place finishes.

Laurin Watts rode BC's Connection to two 2nd place finishes and a 3rd place finish in the Low Jumper division.

Callie Isaacs rode BC's Diamond Duchess in the Randolph College Medal and the Novice Child/Adult Jumper division earning a 4th and two 6th place finishes.

Jemma Constant rode BC's Connection to a 1st and 3rd place in the Level 1 jumper division.

Monica Iturbide rode Spy Coast Farms Magners SCF in the Novice Child/Adult Jumper division.
