Eagles tied for fourth at ODAC tournament

The Bridgewater College golf team is tied for fourth place at the ODAC tournament with a score of 332 following the first round of play.

Guilford leads after one round with a team score of 318. The Eagles are just three strokes behind second place Washington and Lee. Virginia Wesleyan is third at 330 and Randolph-Macon is tied with the Eagles for fourth place.

John Phillips shot a first round 76 and is in third place in the individual standings. Guilford's Pete Latimer leads with a 73.

Rounding out the score for the Eagles were Mike Redwood with an 83, Aaron German with and 85 and Nick Dean with an 88.

The tournament is being played at the Bay Creek Resort & Club in Cape Charles, Va.
