BC tied for third after Round 2 of ODAC tournament

The Bridgewater College golf team shot a 313 Sunday and is tied for third place after two rounds of the ODAC Championship golf tournament.

Guilford leads the tournament with a two-day total of 634, six strokes better than Washington and Lee. Roanoke and Bridgewater are tied at 645.

John Phillips shot a 79 Sunday for a two-day total of 155. Phillips is all alone in second place, six shots behind Guilford's Peter Latimer.

Mike Redwood led the Eagles on Sunday with a 76 and moved into the top five overall with a two-day score of 159.

Rounding out Sunday's scoring for the Eagles were Mike Hankins with a 77 and Aaron German with an 81.

The third and final round is scheduled for Monday at the Bay Creek Resort and Club in Cape Charles, Va.
