2019 IMLCA All-South Region Team

Senior LSM Jake Truman has become the first Bridgewater player selected to the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) All-South Region team.

Truman was a second team All-ODAC and honorable mention All-Region selection. He ranked second in the ODAC with 36 caused turnovers and ranks second in program history in the category (82). He added 73 ground balls (ninth in the conference, also moving to second all-time at Bridgewater in the category), and scored eight long-pole goals.

He totaled a season-high six caused turnovers to go with seven ground balls in an early season win vs. Wilkes.

When ODAC play started, Truman recorded six ground balls against both Roanoke and Virginia Wesleyan, before scoring a third quarter hat trick in a comeback upset win vs. Hampden-Sydney. He also had a four-CT, seven-GB performance vs. Randolph.

Truman was also a second team All-ODAC (and second team All-State) selection in 2017- at the time, the first in program history to earn those honors.

Bridgewater finished with new program best records overall (13-5) and in conference (6-4), qualifying for the ODAC postseason for the second straight time.
