ASHLAND, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's swimming team wrapped up its dual meet schedule with a 120-67 loss at Randolph-Macon on Saturday.

Austin Bacon won the 1000 free in a new school record of 10:21.68. He later set a new program mark in winning the 400 IM in 4:25.03.

Bridgewater wrapped up its dual meet schedule with a winning record of 5-3, 4-3 ODAC.

At the conclusion of the dual meet portion of their season, the BC men have broken 13 of 15 individual yardage school records and lowered 13 of 15 meter records from their inaugural 2017-18 campaign.

10 yardage records have been set at Randolph-Macon's pool this season. At December's Yellow Jacket Invitational, the Eagles set marks that still stand in the 50 free (Kevin Whalen, 23.15), 100 back (Whalen, 1:02.22), 100 free (Whalen, 51.92), 200 fly (Bacon, 2:02.85), 200 IM (Dillon, 2:23.05), 500 free (Bacon, 5:00.04), 200 free relay (Dillon, Raphael Stanek, Bacon, Whalen in 1:36.07) and 400 free relay (Dillon, Tito Alcazar, Bacon, Whalen in 4:08.96).

Bridgewater will hope to improve on many of those times as the Eagles will now head to their second Old Dominion Athletic Conference championships, February 15-17 in Greensboro, N.C.
