Women's Swimming Takes All 14 Events at Ferrum

FERRUM, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's swimming team won all 14 events in a 183-37 victory at Ferrum Friday evening.

Taylor Berard won two individual events- the 100 breast (in 1:25.10) and the 50 free (in 28.34).

Kelley Hilliker won the 100 free (58.74) and the 100 fly (1:06.32). Her sister Kaitlyn Hilliker took first place in the 200 free with a time of 2:13.97.

Also winning multiple individual races for Bridgewater was Olivia Heeb-Wade (first in the 1000 free and 500 free) and Rachael King (first in the 200 fly and 200 IM).

Morgan Beauregard won the 100 backstroke for the Eagles, with a time of 1:09.54.

Also winning races were Laurel Glover (taking the 200 back in 2:32.82) and Jenna Walmer (winner in the 200 breast, in 2:57.70).

The Eagles took both relays events. Amanda Nesselrodt, Walmer, King and Genevieve Young won the 400 medley relay (4:45.15), and the evening closed with Heeb-Wade, Jessy Wilson, Glover and Kelley Hilliker winning the 400 free relay in 4:07.57.

The Eagles are 3-0, 2-0 ODAC in dual meets and will host Emory & Henry next Friday.
