Eagles Win Home Meet vs. Wasps

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's swimming team beat Emory & Henry at home on Friday evening by a score of 151-92.

Olivia Heeb-Wade took first place in both the 800 free (10:20.24) and 200 breast (2:58.60).

Also winning multiple individual events were Rachael King (2:44.97 in the 200 fly and 1:12.98 in the 100 fly), and Kelley Hilliker (2:37.75 in the 200 back and 2:39.07 in the 200 IM).

Freshman Amanda Nesselrodt took first place in the 100 back, touching in 1:16.22.

Another rookie, Zoe Moore, was first in the 400 free with a time of 5:01.63.

The Eagles had opened the meet by winning the 200 medley relay. Moore and Hilliker teamed up with Genevieve Young and Laurel Glover for a time of 2:15.27.

Moore was also second in two other events- the 100 breaststroke (1:24.16) and the 50 free (30.02).

The Eagles are now 4-0 in dual meets this season, including a 3-0 mark against ODAC competition.
