Pam Herringa enters her second full year as a swimming assistant coach with the Eagles in 2019-20.
Bridgewater had three All-ODAC selections in 2018-19, including the program's first men's honoree in freshman Austin Bacon. Kelley Hilliker and Olivia Heeb-Wade earned All-ODAC recognition in leading BC to a fourth place finish at the conference meet.
Herringa earned a degree in exercise science from Arizona State University, where she was a four-year letterwinner in swimming. She then completed a master's in secondary education from ASU in 1994.
Herringa taught elementary P.E. for 12 years in Arizona and coached swimming at Gilbert High School in Phoenix.
She resides in Harrisonburg with her husband Jon, who is the pastor at Harrisonburg First Presbyterian Church on Court Square, and their two sons Ian and Eric.
