Women's Lax Wraps Up Spring Break Trip

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Bridgewater College women's lacrosse team concluded its Hilton Head spring break trip with a 19-4 loss vs. Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Anna O'Hara scored two first half goals, one off an assist from Kristen Stark. Stark also recorded a first half goal from Sarah Yashinskie's assist, but the Engineers opened up a 13-3 lead at halftime.

Jacqueline DiFulvio scored the only second half goal for Bridgewater, who finished with seven draw controls in the contest.

Olivia Carson made 17 saves in the cage and Madison Dunbar stopped one, as RPI totaled 47 shots on the day.

The Engineers got a game-high four goals from Abbey Salvon, while Liz Brady had two goals and two assists. 

The Eagles (0-5) will play their next five games at home, beginning with a pair of tough non-conference opponents next week in Transylvania (March 14) and Dickinson (March 16). RPI improves to 3-0 on the season.
