BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College volleyball team ranks sixth for the second week in row in the latest edition of the NCAA South Regional Rankings released on Wednesday.
The Eagles currently sit at 21-5 overall with a conference record of 9-2.
The ODAC has three teams represented in the rankings. Washington and Lee, ranked third last week, has dropped to fifth place with a 16-9 record. The Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets jumped up four spots from their eighth place ranking last week to the No. 4 spot. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Eagles in five sets last week.
The team returns to action on Friday, October 26 as they face crosstown rival Eastern Mennonite in their final ODAC match of the regular season. The Eagles wrap up the regular season the following day with a tri-match against St. Mary's (Md.) and Lebanon Valley. Bridgewater has secured the No. 3 seed for the ODAC Tournament, which begins on October 31.
