Gaston, a junior outside hitter from Mechanicsville, Va., led the conference in total points with 462.5. She finished second in the league in kills with 416 and second in kills per set with 4.16, which also ranked 17th nationally in Divison III. An all-around weapon, she ranked sixth in digs per set with 4.07 and seventh in total digs with 407.
She also notched 19 double-doubles in an outstanding junior campaign that ended with her being named the ODAC Player of the Year and ODAC/Va. Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar Athlete of the Year. She also picked up three ODAC Player of the Week nods during the season.
Wilson, a senior setter from Gloucester, Va., wrapped up her collegiate career with a spot on the All-ODAC first team. She led the conference in assists and assists per set all season, totaling 1,032 total assists and 10.53 per set. Her assists per set mark also ranked 19th nationally in Division III. She surpassed the 2,000 career assist mark on October 27 and finished her career with 2,055.
The senior kept defenders on their toes by becoming a top offensive threat as well. As a six rotation setter, she finished fourth in the conference in hitting percentage with a .301 and totaled 114 kills on the year.
The All-Region selection means both players are now eligible for All-American awards.
